APAKAH TERDAPAT HUBUNGAN SIGNIFIKAN ANTARA PENYALURAN KREDIT USAHA RAKYAT (KUR) DAN PERTUMBUHAN KREDIT UMKM PADA REGIONAL JAWA?

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between Distribution of People's Business Credit (Kredit Usaha Rakyat-KUR) and the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) loan in the Java Region in Indonesia. KUR has become the main policy instrument in supporting MSMEs in Indonesia, which has an important impact on economic growth and reducing regional disparities. The research method includes collecting secondary data from various sources, including historical data on KUR distribution, MSME loan growth data, and regional economic data for the period 2015 to 2022. Regression analysis and other statistical techniques are used to identify the relationship between KUR distribution and MSME loan growth in the Java region, Indonesia. The research results show that KUR distribution is not related to the growth of MSMEs loan in the Java region, Indonesia. Furthermore, commercial credit is positively related to the growth of MSMEs loan in the Java region, Indonesia. The results of this research have significant policy implications, underscoring the need for a regionally focused approach in designing KUR distribution policies to support sustainable MSME loan growth in Indonesia.
